Affiliated Event
An event or activity sponsored by a company, group, or organization, typically occurring at sites throughout Fort Wayne.
May be single day or recurring day event.
Completely organized and operated by sponsoring company/organization.
May have an admission or participation fee.
Sponsoring company pays fee to Three Rivers Festival for Affiliated Event listing to be included in Official Festival Guide.

Art in the Park
A juried Fine Art show and sale, located in Freimann Square
Artists include painters, sculptors, wood carvers, photographers, pen and ink producers, jewelers, and clothing designers
Two day event (Saturday & Sunday)
Entry fees for participating artists
Live music and dance performances throughout event, free for spectators

Bed Race
Early evening event, held on Main Street
Companies/organizations race a two-block course with custom-made beds on wheels
Entry fee for participants; free for spectators
Five-person Teams consist of one bed “rider,” and four runners pushing or pulling bed
Prizes awarded in four categories for Best Decorated and Fastest Beds
Two competition categories include Junior (Ages 9-13) and Adult

Childrens’ Fest
Two-day Free Event (Friday & Saturday)
Located on IPFW Campus
Event targeting families and children under age 12
Youth-oriented educational and entertainment displays and activities
Entry fee for participating vendors (no sales, information distribution only)
Key events include Costumed Character Parade, free amusement rides, free entertainment tent (professional performers)

Crafter’s Market
Two day event, in conjunction with Art in the Park (Saturday & Sunday)
Located north parking lot adjacent to Freimann Square
Entry fees for participating crafters
Quality handcrafted items include quilted purses, homegrown honey, handmade furniture, candles, jewelry and wearable art.

Downtown Midway
Located in East and West Headwaters open meadows — with the backdrop of the river, the hint of the Plaza music, the scent of Food Alley, a beautiful spot to enjoy every aspect of the Festival.
Headwaters West features a natural amphitheater and the northern meadow, where helicopter rides over the downtown area are available for a fee.
Open entire duration of Festival, 11:00 am – 11:00 pm.
Free displays, exhibits and activities for spectators (fee for vendor space)
Amusement rides and attractions for toddler to adult; tickets available to purchase for individual rides or all-day pass

Festival Plaza
Covered Headwaters East pavilion is Festival’s main entertainment site
Open entire duration of Festival, 11:00 am – 11:00 pm.
Includes exclusive Sponsor Hospitality area
Free admission before 6:00 pm daily; $5-15 after 6:00 pm
Local, regional and national musical performers showcased
Soft drinks, adult beverages and food available for purchase
Main display area for sponsor banners & advertising
Spaces available for not-for-profit displays

Fireworks Finale
Very popular closing event on final night of Festival
Fireworks discharged from roof of 26-story downtown building
One of the largest Fireworks displays in region

Food Alley
Duck Street & Barr Street is central location for Food Concessions
Open entire duration of Festival, 11:00 am – 11:00 pm.
Concessionaires pay base fee and percentage to participate
Individual food items priced by concessionaires

Hospitality Tent
Located inside Festival Plaza
Exclusive, limited access area for Sponsor Badge holders and quest
Complimentary soft drinks, adult beverages, snacks & food provided

Information & Souvenir Booth
Located in Freimann Square (1st weekend) & adjacent to Food Alley
Food Alley location open entire duration of Festival, 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
Festival shirts, buttons and memorabilia available for purchase

International Village
Located adjacent to Food Alley final Friday & Saturday)
Ten cultures entertain with dance, music, story telling
Ethnic food available to purchase
Ethnic wares, handcrafted items offered for purchase

Located in gated Headwaters West Pavilion
Four day event (Wednesday through Saturday)
High visibility area for individuals and businesses to display and sell products and services.
Varying participation fees for vendors, based on size of space
Items available range from African art, affordable jewelry, handbags and apparel to henna tattoos, outdoor d├ęcor, bath remodeling, sunrooms and windows & more.

Traditional “kick-off” to the Three Rivers Festival.
Themed Parade covers a 2-mile route through historic neighborhoods in downtown Fort Wayne.
Features 150+ entries, including area high school marching bands, motorized and walking units, floats, balloons and equestrian units.
Entry fee for participants; free for spectators
VIP Parade seating area available
Trophies awarded in six categories for commercial and non-commercial entrants
Two-hour Live Television Broadcast of Parade, with repeat later in the week

Raft Race
TRF is back on the Rivers with a long-awaited return of THE RAFT RACE presented by Hotel Fitness on Saturday, July 20!
$14,000 in Cash Prizes for Commercial and Individual categories (prizes for speed & creativity)
Water Wars – 3-person water-balloon launching teams compete for accuracy

Waiter-Waitress Contest
Located in Festival Plaza
Early afternoon event
Competition for 3-person teams of Restaurant servers, racing in relay-style, obstacle courses
Entry Fee for participating teams; free to spectators
Prizes awarded to top three Server Teams
